About the Marina

The Lady Bee marina is situated amongst the commercial docks of Shoreham Harbour, found through a lock and up the eastern arm of the River Adur. The marina and its facilities meets all the usual requirements and next door to it is the friendly Sussex YC who have their own pontoon berths and welcome visitors too. If one is desperate for fuel, then both petrol and diesel are available by cans from the local Southwick Garage, or their is a diesel pump at Corral’s up the western arm of the River Adur. On the whole, a quiet night in with a Spanish waterfront restaurant, and three large convenience stores are within a 5 minute walk.

Marina Approaches

Shoreham is a commercial harbour so a Occ.Y.3s light from the Middle Pier means do not enter either the eastern or western arm of the harbour. Once in the eastern arm, aim for the northern most lock which is for small craft traffic. The lock is manned 24hrs a day and there is a waiting pontoon just inside on the south wall. The lock sill is 2.6m below chart datum which can prevent access an hour either side of LW springs. Otherwise entry into the basin is on the half hour and departure from the basin is on the hour.

Lock traffic signals:
RED RED RED vert: do not approach
GREEN WHITE GREEN vert: clear to approach
